Video | Latest robotic system pledging to ‘fix construction’ raises $25m

A four-legged autonomous robot named Mantis fronts a new AI robotic system that claims to be able to “fix construction’s existential problems”.

The London-based startup developing it, All3, has raised $25m in a seed funding round led by RTP Global.

It will use the money for R&D as it prepares to roll out the system this year in Germany, with a focus on timber residential schemes.

The company says Mantis can work onsite, assembling elements that are custom prefabricated offsite in pop-up robotic factories, with the whole system running on AI-powered design software.
